alliantgroup’s Second Annual Health & Wellness Fair

alliantgroup celebrated its Strong In Mind, Strong In Body wellness culture, focusing efforts to improve health and wellness for all, by hosting its second annual Health & Wellness Fair! This year, over 300 attendees and more than ten health, fitness, and nutrition vendors took part in the celebration, which also included complementary biometric screenings for staff. At the fair, alliantgroup professionals got the opportunity to learn about some of the newest fitness classes and receive complementary passes from the top studios around the city, including Soul Cycle, Orange Theory Fitness, and Define Body and Mind Studios. Fitness is an integral component of alliantgroup’s wellness culture, as professionals have access to an onsite gym and complementary fitness classes, including Spin, Barre, Yoga, and Circuit Training each week.

alliantgroup’s Health & Wellness Fair also offered samples of delicious and healthy foods from Central Market, HS Green, Green Plate Foods, Define Foods, and Kickin Kombucha, demonstrating that maintaining healthy eating habits can be easy, convenient, and delicious! Other vendors such as Koala Health & Fitness treated staff to free massages and assessments, while Labrada Chiropractic and Luke’s Locker offered discounts on services. The event concluded with a remarkable presentation from the Houston Astros and (former) Houston Texans sports dietitian, Roberta Anding. Ms. Anding provided valuable nutrition tips, dispelled common nutrition myths, and discussed the importance of nutrition and hydration to both the weekend warrior and corporate athlete alike.
