alliantgroup and Habitat for Humanity Day 3

Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped 6.8 million Americans achieve the dream of homeownership. alliantgroup is so proud to be a part of this enduring legacy, giving back to the community and helping families achieve the goal of obtaining safe and affordable housing.

Construction on the new home began at 7:30 am and lasted for three days while alliantgroup volunteers helped to erect the exterior and roofing of the house. The majority of alliantgroup volunteers had no previous construction experience and worked together in teams to use an assortment of power tools and transport heavy building materials across the construction site and roof. Teams collaborated and communicated with one another to accomplish a variety of different tasks, but most importantly, empowered one another to take on the many new responsibilities needed to complete the build. The project was not only an remarkable way to give back to the community, but also strengthen the bonds linking alliantgroup teams as family.
