alliantgroup and CEO Dhaval Jadav Host Parker Elementary Back to School Charity Event

alliantgroup CEO Dhaval Jadav, alongside many other alliantgroup professionals, happily volunteered their time on Thursday, August 23, 2018 evening to hand out backpacks and school supplies to the students at Parker Elementary.

More than 200 underserved Parker Elementary School students were given much needed school supplies, to help them better prepare for the upcoming school year and focus on their studies instead of worrying about if they will have notebooks, writing utensils or a backpack.

As part of the school’s annual Meet and Greet with students, parents, teachers and administrators, the recent event is just the latest in a growing list of community outreach initiatives sponsored by the Blue Heart Fund, alliantgroup’s nonprofit charity. Originally founded in the wake of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, the Houston-based Blue Heart Fund has expanded to now encompass many charitable causes and events taking place across the nation.

Along with fundraising for various philanthropic endeavors, the Blue Heart Fund’s primary focus has been promoting exposure to STEM education and careers in our universities, public schools and local communities. Specifically, the firm went so far as to host a massive field trip for Parker Elementary students to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. In addition to promoting STEM education in K-12 schools, the firm has also awarded six STEM-based scholarships over the past year and is currently accepting applicants for the Fall of 2018.
