alliantgroup Volunteers Saw Sparks Fly at the 2019 National Robotics League National Championships.

It was every bot for themselves!

Our alliantgroup volunteers saw sparks fly at the 2019 National Robotics League (NRL) National Championships.

The two day competition was held at California University in Pennsylvania in May. Dozens of teams from across the country battled it out for the Grand Champion title.

alliantgroup team members Mary Louise, Victoria and Rebecca put their safety glasses on and got right to work as judges, timers and runners.

Pine-Richland High School won the Innovation Award, sponsored by alliantgroup.  The Pine Richland team from Pennsylvania won a $1,000 award for their innovative efforts in building their bot.

The first place competition winner and Grand Champion was Bedford High School in Pennsylvania.  Bedford High School was awarded $500 for their efforts.

The NRL, a program of the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA), provides a national structure for educational robotics where students design and build remote controlled robots to face off in a gladiator-style competition.

alliantgroup is proud to support innovation in manufacturing in such a fun and creative way!
