At alliantgroup we take tax season seriously. We go pedal to the metal to make sure we deliver on our commitments to our clients and provide them with the best experience possible. That doesn’t mean we can’t have fun while we’re working to maximize value for our clients. Which is why we love to have theme days to add some color and excitement during tax season. Take a look at how our staff gets into the tax season spirit below!
College Day
College football is back baby! Our staff comes from all over the country and we don’t need an excuse to rep our schools but we’re happy to show our colors to brighten up tax season. We have alumni from Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, Florida State, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, OU, Howard and the University of Chicago just to name a few. We are a diverse bunch and we love our interoffice rivalries.
Houston Sports Day
We care about our community and that definitely includes supporting Houston sports teams. Being Texans, football is life down here so there was plenty of support for JJ Watt and the Houston Texans as they look to make waves in the NFL this season. While the Texans are still seeking their first Super Bowl, the Astros are in prime position to take their title back! It is no surprise then that the most represented Houston sports team was the Houston Astros. We didn’t forget our two time MLS Cup Champions, the Dynamo, or our two time NBA Champions, the Rockets, as there was plenty of love for all our teams.
Breast Cancer Awareness Day
There are many of us here at alliantgroup who have battled breast cancer and/or have been effected by the disease through a family member. Nearly 1 in 8 U.S. women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime with nearly 300,000 new diagnoses every year. No one should have to face this disease alone and alliantgroup employees brought a wave of pink into the office to show we stand with breast cancer victims.
Star Wars Day
The alliantgroup office has no problem letting its nerds loose. Bring up The Last Jedi around our staff and watch the firestorm that ensues. Whether you liked that movie or not, the Force is strong at alliantgroup. From our full-sized replica of Darth Vader to our lightsaber wielding fanboys and fangirls, there was plenty of action from a galaxy far far away. May the Force be with you!
Twin Day
You know the pair of coworkers you have that are perpetually attached at the hip and are so prone to finishing each other’s sentences that you’d swear they were twins? Well we have a bunch of people like that in our office! In fact, many of our coworkers end up getting so in sync with one another that we end up with entire teams that are identical. When you love the work you do and the people you work with, twinning with a coworker becomes an occupational hazard.
