alliantgroup CEO Dhaval Jadav Awards Students $150,000 in STEM Scholarships

Last week, alliantgroup welcomed fourteen of the fifteen winners of their most recent round of the alliantgroup Client and Partners STEM Scholarship Program at their global headquarters in Houston.

The scholarship award ceremony was part of alliantgroup’s bi-annual Think Tank event, a two-day leadership summit that brings together American businesses, politicians and thought leaders to discuss the latest in business and legislative trends. This particular Think Tank, called The Frontlines of Innovation,was hosted on November 6 and 7. During the summit, speakers covered topics related to technology, legislation and cybersecurity, with Congressman Kevin Brady serving as the event’s keynote speaker.

On Wednesday, November 6, students and their parents came from all around the U.S., including Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio, to receive their scholarship. alliantgroup’s CEO, Dhaval Jadav personally awarded each student a $10,000 scholarship to go toward their college education.

Each winner is planning to major in a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) field in college.  Their expected majors include chemical engineering, biology, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, marine biology and cybersecurity.

These talented students plan to attend universities including the University of Alabama, Auburn University, University of Louisville, University of Akron, University of Advancing Technology and Northwestern University.

The scholarship recipients also took part in a variety of activities during the day, including an interactive STEM Zone with virtual reality and robotics activities powered by Space Center Houston.
