alliantgroup’s 2020 Houston STEM Scholarship Program Winners

As an advocate for innovators everywhere, alliantgroup is proud to help light that spark for the next generation of professionals by developing the Blue Heart Fund STEM Scholarship Program. With the growing need for continued technical talent, the STEM Scholarship program was designed to reward and incentivize young people to pursue their dreams in a STEM-related field. That is why alliantgroup is committed to award more than $200,000 in scholarships to students pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field each year!

alliantgroup currently operates two separate scholarship programs for young innovators planning to major in a STEM field. We have our Partner STEM Scholarship, for high school seniors nominated by our clients, CPA partners, or industry alliance partners; and our Greater Houston Area STEM Scholarship program, for high school seniors from the Greater Houston Area.

Every year alliantgroup receives many applications from high school seniors from around the Greater Houston Area who are passionate about pursuing degrees and careers in STEM fields. This year, we had over one hundred and twenty outstanding candidates, many with perfect ACT or SAT scores who applied. As a result, our judging committee had a hard time selecting our final two scholarship winners for our Greater Houston Area STEM Scholarship program.

Ultimately, we chose the candidates that we believed best embodied our STEM mission after reviewing their grades, achievements and essays detailing their aspirations for a career in STEM.
