We had a great time at our very first alliantgroup stargazing event last Thursday: Cocktails and Cosmos!
Members from The Houston Astronomical Society provided telescopes and acted as guides to the galaxy in observation of the moon and visible planets such as Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Mars!
Special thanks to our guest Dr. Nicholas Castle who attended to talk about his latest research as part of the Mars Science Laboratory science team at the Lunar Planetary Institute here in Houston.
