To celebrate the growing families of the firm’s professionals, alliantgroup hosted “Take Your Child to Work Day” on Friday, June 21st! This fun event is held annually, and it gives employees an opportunity to show their families the work that they do and how their work both influences and promotes STEM careers in the U.S.
All the kids in attendance were in for a treat! Each child received a blue or tie-dye alliantgroup kids t-shirt, enjoyed lunch from Chick-Fil-A, went on a tour of alliantgroup’s state-of-the-art building to see where their parents sit and met their fun colleagues that sit next to them.
The day also included other exciting activities such as face painting, balloon twisting, “Mad Science” demonstrations, slime-making and decorating, a photo booth area, cookie decorating and a bracelet making station! To wind down the day, the kids enjoyed a yoga session led by our amazing Wellness Director, Melanie Baxter.
We are happy to report that many of the children that attended the event have already given their parents magnificent feedback and they cannot wait to come back for the next “Take Your Child to Work Day” at alliantgroup!
