alliantgroup hosted the inaugural alliantgroup Houston Independent School District Elementary Science Teacher Award Luncheon last week.
More than one hundred guests were in attendance at the alliantgroup headquarters in Houston, Texas to honor the alliantgroup Houston Independent School District Elementary Science Teacher Award nominees and honorable mentions. KPRC-TV meteorologist Khambrel Marshall served as the event emcee.
The alliantgroup Elementary Science Teacher Award was created to reward local teachers who are increasing student achievement and engagement through innovative lesson plans that emphasize the importance and intrigue of science.
One nominee was chosen from each of HISD’s six regions. Each finalist receives a cash award of $1,250 as well as $500 to spend on their classrooms. The grand prize winner receives a personal cash prize of $3,500 plus $500 to spend on their classroom.
