As an advocate for innovators everywhere, alliantgroup is proud to help spark the next generation of professionals by developing the Blue Heart Fund, STEM scholarship program. With the growing need for technical workers in the country and a diminishing talent pool, alliantgroup has created a program that incentivizes young people to pursue careers in STEM and become the innovators of tomorrow.
“It is the number one problem I hear from businesses; that there’s just not enough students graduating with STEM degrees to fill job openings. That’s why I get so passionate when it comes to helping kids accomplish their dreams in STEM. We need to encourage these bright young minds because we want the next world changing innovation to come from the United States.” alliantgroup CEO Dhaval Jadav said.
This spring, we will be offering three different STEM scholarships for deserving high school seniors who are interested in pursuing a degree in STEM:
CLIENTS & PARTNERS
Each student nominated for this scholarship is recommended by an alliantgroup client, CPA partner or industry association partner. Winners will be awarded a $10,000 scholarship to help them achieve their dream of pursuing a career in STEM.
In 2020, we had five outstanding winners who are now pursuing degrees in mechanical engineering, environmental science, civil engineering and biomedical engineering at various prestigious universities across the nation. Read more about them here.
GREATER HOUSTON AREA
This scholarship program is open to any high school senior in the Greater Houston Area who is interested in pursuing a degree in STEM. Each winner selected will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
In 2020, we had two outstanding winners from the Greater Houston Area who are both pursuing degrees in biology. They are currently attending the University of Texas and Stanford University to become physicians. Read more about them here and here.
alliantgroup BLACK COLLABORATIVE
The alliantgroup Black Collaborative STEM Scholarship is our newest program. The aBC’s mission is to promote Black Excellence through engaging the Black community in the Houston area, empowering Black alliantgroup professionals to reach their leadership goals, and expanding alliantgroup’s search for talented professionals by recruiting at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
This spring, the aBC is offering at least two $5,000 scholarships to deserving high school seniors in the Greater Houston Area who are interested in pursuing a STEM degree.
