alliantgroup launched its inaugural Youth and Community Investment Initiative with Habitat for Humanity last week, with over fifty-five volunteers signed up to build a home for one very deserving family in Houston’s Brentwood Neighborhood! alliantgroup’s new initiative focuses primarily on investment in the community while giving back to families and children who are less fortunate. As a natural extension of alliantgroup’s wellness program, this new initiative gives professionals the opportunity to invest their time and energy not only in themselves, but in others, fulfilling a need for community and social wellness, while helping to create a better place to work and live.
Over the three day build, alliantgroup teams worked together to accomplish several major structural jobs to construct the shell of the house and roof. Teams installed paneling around the exterior of the house, laid and positioned the trusses of the roof, hammered thousands of nails, and cut windows in the front and sides of the home. Together, our teams accomplished the amazing feat of building a house and making a lasting impact on our community.
